We re excited to have the opportunity to share our school with your child.  Since 1973, we have educated children spiritually, socially, physically, and emotionally.  Our staff is trained and experienced in helping your child gain the necessary skills to be successful in kindergarten.  Class size is limited so that each child can receive individual attention.

Our school is state-licensed and has staff certified in First Aid, CPR, and MAT.  We also have regular fire drills.

Our schedule is Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:45 a.m. to 12:00 noon.  We follow Henrico County Public Schools schedule for closings due to bad weather, holiday closings, and student workdays or half-days.  We also provide an optional Lunch Buddies program one day a week and an optional Summer Camp offered for one week in June.  In addition, we also offer a car pool line for drop-off and pick-up or you may choose to walk your child to the door and pick them up that way too.

We have many fun and exciting events at North Run Prekindergarten which include: Open House, Family Nights; Halloween Costume Parade and Parties, Thanksgiving Feast, Snack with Santa, Christmas Parties, Valentines Parties, Annual Art Show and Reception, Prekindergarten Sunday, Easter Egg Hunts and Parties, Parent/Child Picnic, End-of-the-Year Program, and Graduation for the 4′s with Reception.

Your child’s teacher will make a special visit to your home in August to meet you and your child, go over the student handbook and other pertinent information, and answer any questions you may have.
